Spring Hill has three main newspapers: The Journal of Spring Hill and Thompsons Station, The Advertiser News, and The Informer.
The Journal of Spring Hill and Thompsons Station is a Wednesday supplement of the large Nashville Paper, The Tennessean, but you can get it separately from the Tennessean if you like. It covers a lot of local government issues but reads like a professional, large-city paper.
The Advertiser News is published by the same company as the Columbia Herald and also comes on Wednesdays. Don’t let the name fool you because it’s not packed with ads. It’s actually my favorite paper in town. It has more of a small-town paper feel and covers more feel-good type stories.
The Informer News is a true local paper. It was started by three residents and takes article submissions from the public. It’s published on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. This one I don’t get regularly, and I’ve only looked at a couple of times. But so far, I haven’t been compelled to read it regularly.
