Two churches in Spring Hill have free exercise classes. They’re mostly geared towards ladies, so I haven’t been. But, I hear that they’re packed.
The People’s Church
Cardio Fitness Class
Mon/Wed/Fri – 6:30am to 7:30am and 6:00pm to 7:00pm
A fitness training program that will improve your cardio, increase bone density, burn fat and build muscle. Learn principals from Mike’s book The Power Based Life.
Zumba
Wed – 6:30pm to 830pm
Come dressed to sweat and in tennis shoes. Bring lots of water to drink. Don’t need to know how to dance to Zumba. Mom’s night out, so please leave the kids at home. Must sign a waiver. Free class! Led by Melanie Slaugenhoupt Ages: 13 and up
Women’s Yoga
Sun – 5:30pm to 7:00pm
Yoga class for all women ages 18 and above. Bring your own mat.
Thompsons Station Baptist
Zumba
Mon – 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Thu – 6:30pm to 7:30pm
The People’s Church has more activities, but Thompsons Station Baptist is a huge church and draws a big crowd. I’ve been told it’s the Zumba classes from both churches that are the most popular. Be sure to check the church websites below in case times or days have changed.
